If you cancel within six business days of class or are a no-show, you have a one time option of transferring into an alternate class. However, you will not be eligible for a refund because we were not allowed enough time to fill your space in the previous course.
Will I have to actively participate in class?
Most of our courses utilize videos, group discussions and skills practice. Certification requires that you attend all class sessions and pass both skills and written tests. You will be asked to participate in hands on activities throughout the class. Please wear comfortable clothing because some of the classes will be on the floor.
What if I am late for class?
The core of most programs is taught at the beginning of class. Late arrivals are admitted at the discretion of the instructor, but certification may be affected. Although starting times are firm, ending times are approximate.
Can I receive replacements for lost certificates?
We can issue replacement certificates for courses taught through our chapter, as long as the certification is still valid. We will ask that you provide the course name and location where you attended the training. There will be a $5 processing fee for each replacement certificate.
Can I get sick using a manikin?
According to the Center for Disease Control there has never been a reported case of any infectious disease transmitted through the use of CPR manikins.
